WORK HISTORY: My name is Carlos de Matos and I am the owner of East Coast Woodworx. I qualified as a Sheet Metal worker in 1984. I worked on all types of ventilation ducting for extraction of dust and heat in the Industrial as well as the private sector. Later I managed a refrigeration Company in the manufacturing of horizontal and vertical commercial fridges for retail stores such as Pick & Pay, Checkers and OK bazaar. Years later I managed a Company in the manufacturing and development of Core Storing system for the local Mining and exploration Industry. Years later I started my own business in the manufacturing of Electrical Switchboards for the private and Industrial sector .As the building Industry got quite several years ago and the demand for Electrical Switch boards drop considerably we decided to close the Company. After the closure of my Business I was asked to join and manage a Shop fitting Company in the manufacturing and installation of all the Incredible Connection Stores Countrywide, as well as the Vodacom, MTN stores, Nokia Stores, etc. In 2006 I moved to the South Coast and once again started my Business in the manufacturing and supplying of Kitchens, BIC, Bars and many more products.
